About Sinéad

My interest in food, health and fitness sparked at a young age having competed competitively in athletics and football. I was fortunate to grow up in a house where homemade, fresh food was a staple. My Mum was a home economics teacher and topics of food and nutrition were discussed at many dinner table conversations.

I developed a strong interest and passion in women's health having worked in Ireland's leading maternity and women's hospital where I still practice as a Clinical Dietitian. From this role, I've gained invaluable insights into women's health concerns across the lifespan from adolescence, pregnancy and menopause.

I understand and relate to the concerns and challenges women encounter when it comes to nutrition and health, trust me I've been there! I spent my teenage years googling every diet imaginable and was let confused, perplexed and frustrated by the conflicting information out there, I didn't know what to believe or follow. Having studied nutrition for 7 years at university and becoming a Registered Dietitian, I want to help you by providing evidenced based nutrition, so you don't find yourself in the same position I was years ago.

My mission is to empower individuals to become the best version of themselves. I advocate for a balanced approach to nutrition, encouraging moderation and inclusion of all foods within a healthy, balanced diet. I believe in promoting healthy lifestyles as a long-term commitment, rather than advocating for fad or short-term diets. My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition information tailored to each individual's unique needs and lifestyle. I emphasise enjoyment and balance in food choices, viewing food as not only nourishment but also a source of pleasure and sustainability.

I am dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for my clients, where they can gain a deeper understanding of the science behind nutrition. My goal is to empower individuals to make informed decisions that positively impact their well-being, ultimately leading to a healthier and more fulfilling life.
